Congratulations to Noel Lambe on winning the Best New Meat Product at the Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland national finals at the K Club.

Noel came up with the idea of combining Nolan’s famous sausages with chopped smoked bacon, homemade cranberry black pudding as well as our homemade white pudding in a pastry covered roulade, all combining together to make one delicious Irish Breakfast Roll. Noel was very proud to win both the Leinster Final & All Ireland Final competitions.

The awards were presented by Darina Allen, Ballymaloe Cookery School, Champion of Irish Butchers and Irish Artisan Food Producers.

Darina spoke of her great regard for traditional butchery skills; skills that have been passed down through generations and how wonderful that was and that is what Nolan’s of Kilcullen is all about.

Amazing Success for TEAM Nolan’s of Kilcullen at World Cup Craft Butcher Finals and International Food Awards at IFFA, Frankfurt, Germany in last week.
Over 1.800 products were entered from 49 different countries and Nolan’s won SIX Gold Medals and an Outstanding Achievement Award. Huge credit to all the fantastic TEAM that makes Nolan’s of Kilcullen so unique. The following products medalled GOLD: Traditional Pork Sausage, Traditional Black Pudding, Clove and Orange Baked Ham, Noel's Irish Breakfast Roll, Spiced Beef and Chilli Sausages. The Festive Meatloaf and Low Fat Turkey Sausage received silver medals and our Festive Cranberry Black Pudding took bronze !!!
