We are first and foremost a Butchers with prize winning products from Sausages, to Spiced Beef to our incredible Black & White Puddings, Home Cured Low Salt Rashers and Topside Hams.
Our Beef is Dry Aged in the old fashioned way.
Nolans Butchers was indeed established in 1886. Set up in the main street of a small village in Co.Kildare known as Kilcullen, the Nolan brothers who established the business had a progressive and enterprising outlook.
Our heifers are selected from our farm and local farms mostly around the Kildare region. However we source store heifers from the West of Ireland as they simply thrive once they reach the grasslands of Kildare.
The butchers in Nolans are true craftsmen dedicating to getting the detail of their job right .
Nolan Butchers of Kilcullen is a 28,000 sq ft complex which includes a store, a fully EU licensed Abattoir, Chills, Boning Hall, Curing facility and all the required ancillary services
In Nolans the breed is important but more so we look at each individual heifer carefully before hand selecting that which we believe will give the best flavour possible.
We comply with all EU regulations that are implemented by the department of Agriculture, Kildare County Council and Food Safety Authority of Ireland.
